Using the forum with an iPad

I can't seem to use the forum editor with my iPad. I remember seeing posts about members using their iPad on the forum, however mine wont let me enter text in the actual editor. Can anyone give their 0.02?

I have the same problem and as I am increasingly using my ipad for my internet browsing and sharing, it would be great if that could be solved!
