I'd like to post a small update in regards to the software issues since the forum upgrade to IPB 2.2 along with a couple of changes:

1. The cookie situation should now be resolved. If you've been having cookie issues please click on the "Delete cookies set by this board" link on the forum index page, or better yet, clear all the cookies in your browser entirely. After you re-login everything should be back to normal (hopefully!).

2. Uploaded image thumbnail size issues have now been resolved. I've set the max thumbnail size to 720 x 540 pixels which plays nice with the new profile page outline so as long as you're using a minimum of 1280 x 1024 resolution on your computer everything will look great. That thumbnail size is also large enough so when viewing threads directly you can clearly see the images. Ofcourse you'll always have the option to click on the image to see it in it's maximum size as uploaded by the original poster. I still have yet to run the image rebuild utility which will rebuild all existing images to the new thunmbnail size. All existing uploaded images will be updated by tommorrow.

3. When a member uploads images and never attaches them into the post box, the forum automatically does it for them and aligns them all horizonally with each other instead of vertically resulting in having to scroll to the right to see the pictures. A fix is in the works to resolve that issue. This hasn't been too much of a problem however I see it occasionally and always manually edit such posts to fix that.

4. Our gallery is still work in progress towards a fix and remains offline. There's multiple issues with it and as soon as I have everything resolved I'll let everyone know.

5. Due to the new profile page design, I've modified the "Personal Photo" size restrictions to 200 x 150 pixels and 25 KB file size which fills in the width of that left table area nicely (see my profile, I updated my personal pic for the larger size). For those curious, the previous maximum dimensions allowed were 150 x 150 pixels.

6. While increasing the personal photo dimensions I've also decided to increase the avatar dimensions based on the same reasoning. The width of the left side of the table containing user information is fixed so we might as well make use of it as much of it as possible. With that in mind, I've increased the avatar dimensions to a maximum of 150 x 100 pixels and 15 KB file size. Again for those curious the previous limit was 128 x 80.

7. It's my intention to remove the "Quick Access" box and expand the smilies/emoticons box vertically all the way like it used to be. I think the Quick Access box contains useless items for us plus you can click on "Insert Special Item" next to Fonts if you need those functions. Does anyone even care about this?

Well -- that's all folks! Don't everyone rush and upload new larger avatars and personal photos at once.

Lomag,
I'm still getting booted off on a frequent basis again. Using Firefox 2.0. I would log in, switch pages and suddenly find myself logged out. Are you trying to tell me something?

EDIT: I deleted all cookies yesterday as you instructed.
