+1 with Rudy, and pretty much the rest of you who replied here for that matter

I really appreciate the international flavour we have here and it often provides you with different ways of look at / approaching situations, not to mention a really broad base of technical info & experiences

The OP's comments about having to search a bit more is understandable, but for me the advantages of the international forum certainly out weigh those few occasions where you need to search a little longer. So Casper, if you are having difficulty finding things, just put up a post and I'm sure you'll get the help/answers you're after...

The Admins should just make it required that you list your location - problem solved.

Keep it as it is, it's lively, fun and informative.

I would guess that 95% of the car is the same worldwide, so most comments are of value to all.

Except that they can't -- the software doesn't work that way...

I now know that an especially tough piece of sauerbraten might have been the result of an especially bad day for a horse.

I do not care to read about european, taiwanese or singaporaen posts, those models are not US models. We need a US only E60 Forum. I come here to find out about issues, problems, solutions, etc about my E60 which is a US model, but waste a lot of time sorting through foreign countries posts, with colors/options/engines/models different than US.

Can the E60 forum folks create a US Only forum and another other countries forum to make it easier for US customers to post and read ? If I want to know about singaporean or european models I can go to the other forum, but I am really interested in US models and find myself wasting time reading a bunch of posts from other countries, especially when people do not indicate where they are from.

After all, the US is BMW's biggest market.

Happy 4th of July.

Remember: It is a German car, there are interesting resources/infos about your problems, in and outside US. Most of the car functions are equal Worldwide.

Half of the things I've learned about my car come from those OUTSIDE the US. Take for example, the post/member right above mine. Nick has helped many of us immensely with our cars and he doesn't live in the US.

Sorry bro, but doing US only makes no sense. The site is great as it is.

I enjoy interacting with all especially our friends abroad. We are all here for a common purpose and that is to help each other with problems that arise with our cars and to share ideas and learn from others.

Thanks guy's overseas i enjoy your company and i'm glad you are members.
