Based on other car forums I've joined (Porsche and BMW) it's perfectly possible to have sponsorship in an appropriate and unobtrusive way (whilst still providing value to the sponsor). At E60.net, it always strikes me that we have far fewer contributors than general members. I'm all for sponsors stepping in to make up the difference.

Absolutely. Based on our member list, we have fewer than 360 members who are in the contributors group...
. I know from my personal perspective that the insight and knowledge I've gained has been significantly important to the extra value I've been able to add to my E60 owner experience..................come on lads fall off the wallets and help maintain the great quality of this forum !!!
