Why would anyone would be confused by my intention.
I dunno, maybe because you're the only one doing it and maybe because it's probably not the way the board software was designed to be used? Just guessing...

Could be Rudy. Old things die hard, and new, or different, ones are hard to accept in general.

If that's the case there's no way for those to be combined by anyone.
The more I think about it I am not sure why someone, on the inside, could not combine two posts by the same person. You guys can modify the posts of others, right? So, for example, it seems like it would be an easy matter to download an image from a person's second post, attach it to his or her earlier post, add the words from the person's second post, and finally delete the second post.

My interest here is purely academic. I am willing to accept that no one has combined anyone's posts. There is no reason for anyone to reply unless he or she just happens to be interested in clarifying the possibilities.

I will use it from now on.
No problem. I just had to use something as an example and your posts were the last ones that came to my mind. Sorry for using them as samples.

While you are doing it again in the last two posts, making two instead of one with multiple quotes...
So, just that I understand this corrcetly... You want the admins or moderators to clean up the mess? And you want them to combine two posts?
I think I am really confused now...

Yes, you are confused. Just go back to my original post. I think that my position is quite clear. And, you guys are just a tad up tight about posting perfection. When I posted the second one, I had forgotten about this first one. I've got to tell you; this nit picking is very ho hum. Are you able to clean up the mess--as you see it? I thought that what Mark said implied not.

So you don't think that I understood the points Rudy made and the remainder to the understandable points made in this thread?

I don't know if you understood it or not. I just agreed to Rudy with a, for the topic itself, useless post, just as you do all the time. So why can't I do it too?

OK, so I am confused, but by reading the post I thought you want us to do so. Sometimes it's not so easy to understand the written words of someone. But that'S why I asked, since it made no sense, and now it does makes sense, but I had to wait for this reply and then read it again.
Anyways, while we are at posting perfection, I think that somebody with a post count in the thousands should be aware of everything and allways ahead of others... IMHO.

I'm not perfect, and I never will be. I could complain about some of your posts for a variety of reasons. But, I say forgive the deficiencies of others, don't expect perfection, and live and let live. Let's quit nit picking our members. As said, doing so is ho hum. I would appreciate an anwer to the question I rasied above about the mods abilities to combine posts. Thanks.

A moderator can't even close a topic here.
We move and delete.

Thanks, I assume you are saying also that you can't modify an existing post. Just clarifying to be sure. If so, then there is no need to reply. Thanks again.
