So I have been thinking about this for a while now...
You see an E60, let's say at work in the lot, or out somewhere. No E60.net stickers. Could be a member here, but probably not. Wouldn't it be great if we had little cards to stick in the window down near the driver's door handle, inviting the owner to come and visit the forum?
Just yesterday I noticed a new jet black 530xi (with 123 style wheels no less) with 30 day tags at work, parking in the same out-of-the-way area that I do. Wanted to write a note or something... do you guys agree we should make a design that we could print and carry with us? (for those inclined to do this sort of evangelism)

My Ride: My 1st was an '06 530xi, Titanium Silver w/ gray dakota leather, sport pkg. & Nav.
Now my 2nd is an '08 650i CP, Space Gray, Blk Dakota, Sprt. Auto, HUD, Sprt. Pkg., Prem. Sound, High Beam Ast. & Comfort Access
Good idea about the cards. One thing to keep in mind; many 5 series owners many not know about the designation "e60". I found this site by googling 5 series oil change. Just something to keep in mind on the cards.

Yeah - I think they should say something more than just E60.net since I think some people might not realize the model code attached to their car and just toss the card without realizing it isn't some stupid "lose weight!" ad. I know some graphic arts design types - web designers. Maybe I can get some assistance and post something.

So today, the wife and I were out in the Hamptons doing some antiquing (her thing, not mine). Anyway, on our way home a 545 is in front of me at a stoplight, getting ready to enter the highway. It's dusk and I have my AIB's on and my HOEN fogs, but no xenons on. He totally notices me behind him and speeds up to let me pull around as we enter the highway. He then pulls behind me and notices my rear white LED rear lic plate bulbs. Haha! Now that he's behind me, I notice that he too, has his fogs and his stock angel eyes on, but no xenons on. However, his set-up is pure stock (amber color) and he notices that my look is pure white. He keeps driving back in front of me and then behind me (keep in mind we're doing about 95mph together), so I play along to show off my mods (It's like being a proud father. LOL!). Finally, he exits 20 minutes later and gives me the thumbsup as he exits. I'm sure had we been on local streets, he would have rolled down his window to ask about my lights/mods and I would have said 6 letters to him............"E60.net"!
Moral of the story is..........................WE NEED E60.net cars to hand out to people!

Rudy,
I think the UUronL meant something like business cards to leave on the other e60. Not the e60.net clings that some of us already have on our cars. The threads you posted went from talking about placing cards on e60s to having stickers on our cars.

I too think this is a great idea and really needs to get going. Having a photo or line art of the e60 on the card would go a long ways towards making sure it got the proper attention and was on-Topic rather than just a cheap add.
At a 8 Series meet over the weekend a 6 series (e24 style) guy handed out business cards for our upcoming Sharkfest in April. Told just enough info / pic and web site to be functional. Really a good idea that we must not drop. I would contribute to a separate fund if need be set up by Das or Lomag to get this off the ground.
Hey Guys,
This is a great idea and I'm sorry for not replying here much sooner. It's actually something that I've wanted to do for a while now. The best idea to me is the idea of creating a half-page PDF type advertisement listing the web site along with some basic information about it which could be left under the drivers side windshield wiper of a new E60. I'll throw together something basic shorlty and we'll make improvements on it from there.

I still think business card size is the way to go. Once one is done, a .pdf page can be printed with the card repeated over and over that we can simply cut out and keep a stack in our cars, etc.
Anything bigger would be harder to keep handy. The cards could be printed on heavier paper, etc.
Go for it Lomag!
