How do I edit my post?
#1
I'm trying to edit a post I just put up. It says that there should be an "edit" button to click on when viewing my own post so I can edit it, but it's not there. I also read that the administrator may have prevented my account from editing posts. Does anyone know what I can do?

There should be an edit button in the lower right hand corner of your post. It times out after a while (that is, after a certain amount of time (I don't know exactly how long) after you post is up, it then disappears). Dranged is right. If the button is not there, the admins are your only way to edit the post. GL.

Its not a big deal to not be able to edit our post, inconvenient, but not a big deal. Out of curiousity, is there some logic behind it? Is there a reason that members are not allowed to edit their own post?

We don't like forum history to be changed. I've noticed on many other forums some first posts had a question or whatever that got many replies and then the original poster erased the entire post wrote just a period ".". It makes for wierd threads. Now, edits are allowed for up to 60 minutes after the original post to fix any spelling errors, add things, etc...
