Some forum members are persistently posting responses or topics of no real value. How does one ignore or filter forum posts by those users?

I really never seen that option. I don't think it is possible. But I am sure if it is, someone will mention it.

pull down the menu at the top right, go down to Manage Ignored Users, add the offending user to the list, presto.
I've got a couple of members on there myself.
