problem here is the error message goes off. i believe a resistor is needed like the aftermarket LEDs.

Hey guys,

I purchased the E90 08 OEM License plate LEDs from BMW and installed them together with Radio Shack resistors and there is no "ERROR" message on the IDrive. The resistor needs to be installed on the positive and negative side.


LEDs P/N- 63 26 7 193 293- 2 ea.
Resistors- 50 ohm, 10 watt, 10% tolerance (Cat No. 271-133) 1 ea.

Can an LCI'er test these oem bulbs out? Geneatals? MacFly?? or whoever wants to guinea pig???
