road force balancing is key. also when you find a shop that does it make sure you watch them do it. Some shops will allow it to be off .5, but make sure they zero out your wheels on the machine.

Also you might want to look into getting different hub rings. i had the crappy metal ones and they sucked ass. I bought new ones off ebay for 10 dollars and they solved my problem! If you want a link to my auction pm me and i will dig through my old auctions and find it for you! Hope you get everything figured out!

Ok so i recently bought the miro m6 reps. I had them hunter road force balanced. I watched joe and schmo at the tire shop balance my rims. All 4 of them were completely zero'd out! Perfect balance. I did tape weights and pound on weights on the back of the rim.

After driving it away i didnt feel any vibration! I was so excited. After driving around for awhile i started getting vibrations. I was pretty scared. Continued to drive it and on some roads there was zero vibration. It seemed that certain roads with larger worn paths caused more vibrations. So i started looking into it and contacted another member! (forced528) He was having the same issues and was going to hell and back to fix it. After talking with him i bought new hub rings. The miro's come with crappy little metal ones. I bought these new rings from ebay. Forced528 had recommend them! I got them today and installed them all. I just got back from the test drive and i went to the street where my wheel vibrates the most and NOTHING! It feels like oem wheels again. 100% no vibrations for me! It is honestly the best 10 dollars i have ever spent on my car!! Im more happy now about these little 10 dollars rings than i was last night when i finished the calipers!!

Here is a link to the ebay sellers auction Click here!

$9.96 shipped to your door!

Would these happen to be the same "crappy" metal hub rings you replaced?
Sounds like you off-loaded your crappy metal hub rings to a new member,
and sold it for the same amount you paid for your new (poly) ones from eBay.

If so, that's pretty crappy ...

Just curious ... I need a brain dump.
they cost me 6 dollars to ship. so i made 4 dollars. He has an XI and apparently doesnt need rings but he wanted to see if it would help fix the problem. Id say since he has a different car and maybe it could help him the 4 dollars i made on this isnt really a big deal or why i did it. Making the 4 dollars vs. spending the time to get them, package them, and ship them.

the time ive spent doing this is worth more than 4 dollars. Its more about trying to help him, and getting them out of my house.

Ok just returned from ups, and thought about it more. I think these rings will work because his bore size is closer to the miro size for an xi than it was for my i. These rings have little or no gap to correct according to miro the xi bore size is the same as their rims. So maybe this little ring is all he needs. By the way i thought i was making 4 dollars, shipping $8.16. I charged him 10 shipped. So the 1.84 i "made" in this deal can hardly be considered crappy. Thanks for looking out though.

anyways....

Amanuel i shipped them out this morning as promised. They are coming ups ground and the guy said they should be there Thursday. I wrapped the bubble wrap, and packed it with some more plastic. I hope they solve your problem.

Wow $8.61 for shipping

Nothing like passing on "crappy" rings to another fellow member

like I said maybe these will work for him because the rims bore size is a lot closer to the miro wheels than the "530i" that I tried them on. were they shitty for my car? yea but my car is different than his. if you feel Im trying to scam a member for less than 2 dollars then I guess im sorry you feel that way.

mrfva, thanks for looking out, man. I don't want to believe that any of the "known and respected" members will pass a known bad item to another member.
AWG, sorry it took close to the selling price to ship these... I'll by you a drink if we ever meet in person.

Like I said, I look at the hub rings as a cheap and easy way to eliminate what my tire place keeps repeating. It's gonna cost me 10 bucks and 30 minutes to put them on and test the car. I don't really believe that's the problem, but it's really the most cost-saving troubleshooting step.
Will report results next week.

Thanks to both of you.
