I recently purchased and installed the Time Attack 19" with Front 245/35/19 and Rears 275/30/19 with Nitto555 and I'm just not that happy with them... I'm not sure what's wrong or what happened but when I'm hitting like 60-70 on a slight turn on the freeway it feels like the car is unstable. One time I was heading to vegas with 2 other people in the car and it hits speeds of 60-70 the steering wheel will shake alot . Brought it back to the tire shop and found out that he forgot to put on the hub rings. He put them but still feels off..... do I need to get an alignment or am I missing something...??

TIA

hub rings should do it. if the problem persists, make sure the wheels are properly balanced and an alignment is recommended.

It seems like vibration is a common problem for those kinds of wheels!

a few members on this board had the same problem with the same wheels and they were able to fix it as mentioned above.

I tell my story short.

Two years ago I bought 18" M166 replicas for my E60 and put Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 245/40 R18 on them. The wheel shop forgot to put hub rings --> Shaking

They put hub rings on --> better, but still shaking

Another tire balance in other shop --> still better, but some vibration remained

Went back to this other shop, another tire balance with extreme care --> appeared that two of tires were out of round

Replaced these two tires under warranty, rebalance again and custom made hub rings for every wheel --> NO VIBRATION!

Just to give a hint what can be wrong with your wheels and/or tires...

So what you're saying is take it back to the tire shop and see if they could find out what's wrong and keep on doing it till it stops vibrating.... also a quick question.. the tire only put the hub rings in the front wheels... is that correct?

road force balancing is key. also when you find a shop that does it make sure you watch them do it. Some shops will allow it to be off .5, but make sure they zero out your wheels on the machine.

Also you might want to look into getting different hub rings. i had the crappy metal ones and they sucked ass. I bought new ones off ebay for 10 dollars and they solved my problem! If you want a link to my auction pm me and i will dig through my old auctions and find it for you! Hope you get everything figured out!
