My Ride: 545 modded the F out
I had to throw mine away cuz I live in an apartment with very little to no space for my stock one. I wish I had kept it, but there really was no room for it. Is there anyone out there that recently upgraded who is trying to unload their stock exhaust off of their 545? Im pretty sure shipping is gunna be crazy so I'm looking for somebody remotely close. I'm willing to drive all the way up to NYC as I plan on visiting once more before I move back to CA. If theres anybody in the Bay as well please chime in. Thanks

Cool. Thanks. I'll try shooting him a PM. Im really in no rush, but I can only imagine that once I'm back in Cali I'm gunna have to smog this sucker. Not too sure how it will do with the RPI exhaust but on the RPI forums it says that they completed the build for system w/o getting the SMOG/CARB approval or whatnot so that leaves me to believe that in most cases its going to fail.
Much appreciated and if there is anyone else out there please hit me up. Thanks!

I still got mine. No use for it. Let me know when you're driving up to NYC. We can setup a meet when you come up.
To clarify, "545 exhaust". Just the muffler right? Because I don't have any of the resonators. Just the muffler.
If so, I'll just give it to you for free.

Glad you found a stock 545i exhaust and for free! In relation to getting your car smogged in CA, I got mine smogged no problem with the RPI exhaust on.

Joon when do you get back to VA? Lets road trip it up to NYC. Imma drive up there and pick up either John or DK's exhaust. DK said he'd just let me have it, but since Imma drive up there anyways I told John that I would have him install the reverse HID. still waiting to find out whens the best time for everyone tho.
@Takman- Yea I kinda feel like I should be fine w/ the RPI on, but I just dont wanna take any chances. I still have one more year till I renew my registration and have to SMOG check the car, but I figure it would be easier to look for members unloading their stock parts on the east coast as opposed to back home in CA since most will keep theirs for the reasons I am looking for one right now. If you dont mind me asking how did it perform under the SMOG check?
