Hi Socal,

I am interested as well. Are new lines or sensors required to install on a non-M, 2008 535? How much life is left on the pads?

thanks

Default need 19"?

Hi Socal,

PM sent.

Can you confirm on the need for 19"wheels? I thought that M5 had 18" winter wheels that could be used. What is different on a 535 that we need to go 19"? I am trying to hold off on going 19"due to money. Can I continue to use my stock 18"?

Is something else special needed to make the M5 brake set to work on a 535?

thanks

I can confirm that the 18" Style 184 OEM wheel setup did clear the stock brake calipers on my '06 E60 M5. I ran on them for two winter seasons, best winter setup I've ever had. It would still be a good idea to check the offset numbers first.

Pads life will vary with each set however upon receipt I will post pad life for each set. I would recommend getting new sensors when doing the swap.

@OzMosis - Thanks for sharing your information.

I will take pictures of everything once they are in my possession. The crate is being built this week for all the parts so I'm just waiting for the parts to arrive.
