There might be a few in that neighborhood actually (wheeling and surrounding neighborhoods are full of low-end auto shops). From the eBay listing, it seems like he is still there. Again if a majority of you who probably got cheated think that there is some value in me driving by just to see if I can spot the car and perhaps get a plate number (and you guys can take it from there), PM me and I'll make one trip for you guys.



Also, one more thing, one of the pics shows the car parked at 623 something. I am guessing that's the home address.

I am going to get a peaceful night of sleep now. You guys have it all. I would take a copy of all the pictures and a copy of this thread and your paypal receipts and file a police report. The name and address of the person is on the driving license. You can also ask your local police office to run his plates and (maybe) give you an address.

Then send him a copy of the police report via registered mail and send one to paypal. Should be easy getting your money back then since the fraud would be a registered one.

This guy seemed like a good old member - I really hope he turns around and refunds everyone. This shouldn't be how it should go down.

I'm pretty sure it is him actually. I'm told he sold bath tubs on ebay under the handles "mashan2001" and "mashan2000" (which probably explains all the photos of showers/tubs on his photobucket), and if you poke around even deeper you can find the ebay purchase details for his e60 LCI tail lights, tires, black plugs, the rear diffuser, etc. What a goofball.
