I already mentioned to you what you need. There is no part number listed on the ballast you have to search for D1S ballast, just search for BMW ballast now you know what it looks like, or you could just call your local dealer and ask for the part numbers. The part number I previously gave you (63127189312)is the lastest adaptive headlights control module.

I had the same problem u need d1s ballast u can find on eBay for about 100 each.

Hey OP or anyone else, I have this same problem but didn't u need the newer igniters as well? My 04 igniter doesn't plug into the newer headlights it looks like the plug is different too and I'll need new igniters as well.. Let me know please or if there's a way around that thanks
