Hey,
Can you give me more info on this? I want to purchase this wheel to get the paddle function in my 2007 530i. I don't have heated wheel or lane departure now. Although they would be nice to have, I really just want the paddles to work. Would I still need an a new SZL? If so, obviously I would get an SZL that is compatible with paddles and lane departure (I dont care about heated wheel, I live in hell - Phx., AZ
) do you happen to know the average cost of an SZL with these options. Best case scenario is I use my current sport wheel's SZL, airbag, and buttons and the paddles will work plug & play. Somehow that just sounds way too easy for our e60's

Hopefully Roger at at motivemods will be able to make the heated and paddle shift option work on my '06. If so in a few weeks I'll have a heated sport wheel for sale.

He even flew into town to reset my air bag light, when I did the install I forgot to disconnect the batter 
triggering the warning hehehe.
