This is less than an year old. Made for the first generation iDrive (upto 2008). 500 shipped originally (http://modmynav.com/package.html)
Moving to CIC so this must go.
Price is $400 (with paypal and shipping) obo.
Works beautifully. Rear view camera will be included, but you might need to change the double sided tape on it to ensure good fit. Other than that, this is very easy plug and play.
PS: I am assuming this won't work with the new CIC. If members here think/know that it will, please let me know and I will gladly keep it.

I have always used the entire screen since I originally had MASK (non-nav). There seems to be a way to split it (see the last page of the manual below) but don't count on it to make your choice.
FYI: Install manual http://modmynav.com/.../MMN-E60DIY.pdf

Is this just camera or iPod interface also and how easy it is to install. What has to be removed? Does it need programing? What is CIC
Thanks

wow
2 many questions.
Its a module that attaches to the navigation system (Internally) and has multiple input sources - Its plug and play but has some opening of parts to be done to be able to plug it into the navigation system
Input sources include
1. Video 1
2. Video 2
3. Video 3
Plus it has a backup camera module - that must have a backup camera which is mounted at the back of the car.
So if you put the car in reverse your monitor automaticly shows the image from the rear camera -- Looks sweet and OEM like
You can in a way use Ipod -- View the ipon screen on your monitor in the car but thats about it - the ipod wont be integrated into the steering wheel buttons and so you can switch songs from your steering.
No need of any programming
what CIC is -- Long Story for this thread
Do some research now since its a hot toping on all of the forums like 5series.net, m5board etc

Yah, thanks for helping me out with the questions buddy.
This is the original thread https://5series.net/forums/topic/113...ew-camera-fro/
Hopefully it will answer some questions for those who are interested.
Simon - do you know if the PnP harness for this kit could be used in conjunction with the CIC activation harness sold here?
Making tentative plans and I don't want to do it wrong.
