Yeah, Rogue = Rogue Engineering. What's with E60 guys? Are most of them automatics?

Except for me... and a few others out there Any goodies for my 2004 545i 6-spd M-Sport?
We would do our own exhaust products for the car, but considering BMW changes the E60 pretty frequently, it would be hardly worth it.

Ben, don't mean to hijack this thread, but is the Rogue SSK notchy for the E60? I had a terrible experience with B&M on cold shifts and I would get locked out of gears occasionally while driving! Shifting feels like eternity on my E60 currently.

With B&M, they have two positions. Notchy and extra notchy. There are some people that do equate excessive shifting effort and notchiness with performance. For everyone else, there is Rogue Engineering.

We did not design the E60 545/550 SSK to be notchy. We have nearly infinite adjustment range when prototyping our SSKs, and always try to keep smooth shifts as a top priority. Some may even say we leave some throw reduction on the table. To maintain smoothness, I'll give up a little throw reduction all day.

I have the Rogue SSk w/WSR and find it to be smooth, not notchy. You will feel the engagement as you shift (snik snik)and it requires a slight increase in pull, but certainly not an issue. After a short time it will feel as it never changed, but you will shift better. The shifter and selector rod are substantially larger/heavier than stock. In comparison, the stock assembly feels like plastic.
I would recommend this shifter since BMW cannot seem to build one themselves. I would also recommend the CDV replacement at the same time you install the shifter.
