then make an offer. i'm looking for $700 for them basically.
I haven't sent my A7's back yet, but after today it's looking like everything's going back to TireRack on Monday. I can get some MINT 123's for $550 + $50 shipping from a member on here. If that doesn't work out for some reason, I might be in touch.

Why oh why indeed? I have been asked this question quite a few times as you might imagine. I know it's unheard of, but the M5 was a bit of a Spring-mania, impulse purchase. I had been looking to ditch my 530xi for quite a while and was able to get a good deal (relatively speaking) on an M5 that had been at my dealership for 10 months, like most M5's. The buyer's remorse sank in after a few months, due to my mortgage-sized payment and the $4.39/gallon gas at 14mpg, so I looked into dumping it on leasetrader. One of the members here (with a toe fetish) took the M5 off my hands....what a great guy that man is.

As it turned out my dealership also had this 550i sitting on the lot even prior to my taking the M5...and it was there for at least 9 months from a customer cancellation. RWD bimmers with manuals don't sell so well in these parts, but it worked for me. I got a sweeter deal on this than the M5, and that's about the shortest explanation I can give. Ain't it always about the money? It certainly had nothing to do with the M5 as a machine, which was a beast and a half!
