i have a CCC that is failing and im looking to upgrade to CIC, but im wondering what parts are actually needed.
like the Combox, is that a necessity? does the CIC not have bluetooth (audio streaming) capabilities? and what are the other benefits of fitting a combox?
Also, to activate maps/navigation, you need to upload FSC code to it or use an emulator?

could you clarify this for me?
All hardware parts are included in the kit.
Combox is needed ontop of cic for factory bluetooth streaming; plus coding of course.
Yes for nav activation you either need fsc coding or emulator( i believe i have a spare one somewhere).
