Hey Bro! I'm kinda of confused. I have an 08 550 myself. Will those work as "slipped over/replaced" with current mirrors I have stock? Or do I need M-5 mirrors to use them? I'm doing Carbon Fiber on many places and these might work.
Let me know.

Also--i ordered Blacked Out Kidney Grills. Do you know where I can get them over-layed in Carbon Fiber?

You need to have M5 mirrors for them to work. They replace the upper mirror housing.
