In both of the above mentioned cases you have to remember one thing: The decission is made by the mods and admins, and we're no robots. We are looking at it closely and then make our decission.
The rule is: bump=thread deletion.
If somone else bumps it, I will delete the bump and send a warning by PM. If it happens again I'll report the member to the admin so he has to deal with it.

I am also pretty sure that we will not have to deal with many problems once everyone accespts that the rule exists.

It would still be a mess and makes the view new posts function useless.

I know the reason and I find it hard to accept.

The Robot has spoken!!

In regards to bumping your Sale thread, how would you re-new your sale if you havent sold the part yet? Do you just make a new for sale ad? This would clutter the forum still if so..

Now we have a rule: NO bumps, ttt's, Up's, PM replied, etc.
This is NOT a ONCE a day is OK policy!

What you say about the prices sounds funny from a guy that sells REPLICAS and doesn't give out prices, what should and hopefully will be the next big nono here, and tries to make maximum profit with different pricing for different people without saying it's a replica, the third nono IMHO.
Replicas are violating the law...
If you really feel the need for selling them, SAY it and give public pricing infos.

But prices and replicas are something we need to look at when writing up rules now...
+1000000000000000, well said ICEMAN!

When you're at the classifieds page you see how many views your thread has and how many replies.
If there are no replies but tons of views, people are interested in the item, but it's probably too expensive.
You can now drop the rpice or post newer pics in example.
If you don't have many views you don't really need to renew it, since it seems to be of no interest.
And again the above applies...

I am pretty sure the rules we will write up will clearly state NO REPLICA sales here.
Aw, say it aint so..

there's some pretty cool and high quality "replica" stuff out there.. It would suck to have it all banned because of one unscrupulous vendor

Just a thought...what about new members/vendors who didn't see this thread and post and bump and get their thread delted and not knowing why? hahaha

Is there a first time warning of some sort?
