My price might not be cheaper than Ebay, but I'm sure my quality is better. If you wanna talk about Ebay here, why dont' you just go shop on Ebay. There is no need to even have a classified section.
Dont worry I shop stuff from ebay .. since they are all coming from your neighbors...

and qualities are great.. 10/10 no problem

but if i want good stuff.. i would rather buy here to help vendors from US to help their economic instead of sending money to your country and help you out.
Sorry

With regard to vendors posting pricing, I fully understand the concept of MAP, mimimum advertised price. There are ways around this though and many large businesses use them. Companies like Best Buy, NewEgg etc, don't post the special sale price on the main page, but instead post the price in a link when you add the item to your shopping cart. You usually get 2 choices at that point, add to shopping cart and no thanks just checking price. This complies with MAP rules and allows the customers the ability to see real pricing as well.

Now we're talking. Very good point

Forum vendors should follow suit and try this approach.
It would save everyone (both the sellers and buyers) the
hassle of PMing each other. Plus, it provides the peace of
mind to the buyers, knowing that they weren't charged more
vs. other folks ... just a thought

i also think bumps for private sales should be allowed. i mean there aren't that many private people selling parts. i totally understand for the vendors...

** IGNORE THIS GENE SHOWED ME THE WAY **

So I'm currently selling an item in the private section but cannot edit my original post. I think this is a problem.

I'm lowering my price and want to edit the original post to reflect this but cannot. This means that I have to HOPE that the buyer will look at the last post or even read through all the posts to find any updates.

For example, let's say I update the price in the 5th post. Then in posts 6 - 10 I update with new pictures and then 11 - 15 there are questions about the product. A buyer will have to look through all 15 posts to read all the questions and see the updated price.

So please let me edit my first post always. What do you think?

Michael
