I got these from Burger Tuning and replaced the AE's I got from Motorcepts. They are identical in performance/light output and look exactly the same. 5 watt LED. I have them in an 05 545i, they work in pre-LCI cars. $75 shipped.

When you say they replaced the AEs from Motorcepts, are you referring to their actual HID version?

 

OP's car is pre-lci is it does not use HID AE.

Thanks, glad to be out of the car. I had a 5 series before this and it was flawless to 186k miles. This one just didn't work out.
