Guys,
Depending on how you see this: I have a new expense that just came up, literally. My house in FL just got completed. I'm going to have to assume a second mortgage. Therefore, I cannot swing two rather large payments. I'd rather put money into an asset that will appreciate vs depreciate. I guess I'm "stuck" with my 545.

In all likelihood, your completed house already appreciated from the purchase price already. Take out a Heloc and buy the M5. hahaha

Er... Dammit! you're right. It has appreciated quite a bit in Tampa.

I thought I had my way out of the Emmy...

Umm... Hypothetically, wouldn't it be best to wait for the '07s to arrive and then see if the M5 can be finagled for below MSRP for a '06?

How about getting a used 2006 M5? I'm seriously considering doing that towards the end of the year or early next year, before I put more money into my current car.

I'm holding off on further mods as well. I was going to get a re-map and eventually a differential. The next month will be interesting...

Sh#t!! Now that you mentioned it, I still want to complete my dinan mods which means I still want the strut brace and their software. The last update from my sales guy is that Steve Dinan thinks the software will come out next month.

Well, ummm...the 07s are out......that was the title of my topic?? Come on Joe.....just get over it, and order it!! I think the problem with what you are proposing here is that, unlike other E60s, not too many dealers are accumulating emmys on the lot, and are looking to clear them out to make space for the new models, 07s. I think you would be hard pressed to do much better than MSRP. Rody is right.......save your mod money, and just make the plunge....besides, you would be happy, you sell your car to nolan, and he's happy.....and all is right in the universe!!
