What you say makes sense. The thought process I used in posting here is that someone may be looking to upgrade or may have a friend looking for an E60. I will certainly use the other sites you mentioned, but decided to start here. I previously owned an E39 M5 so I also posted on M5Board. There I used a different marketing approach, seeing if there were any M5 owners looking for a sensible downgrade

Been a lurker here for a while and post on a # of bimmer forums. Owned a # of Bimmers over the last decade:
98 E36 328 6mt
01 E39 540i 6mt (Dinan Stage 2)
02 E46 M3 Cab SMGii
Haven't owned a bimmer since that lovely steel grey m3 - instead owning a bunch of american cars. Ended-up in a negative equity situation that I tossed into a two year lease on a Mazda x-over..
Got less than a year on that self-imposed exile and am watching for that perfect 550, 545 6mt..Unfortunately, Al's is available about 6 mos too early for me..At least he's getting some nice bumps out of the deal!

Actually, my wife wants me to keep the car and I am not in any rush. I am within 1-2 years of retirement and have started the automobile downsizing process. If you have interest later on and the car is still available, feel free to contact me.
