I would like some feedback please.
First, the car is what it is. It does not have Nav or HUD or some other features that some people might feel are important. It is a manual which I'm sure limits the market. I cannot change these things. Listen to me, I am dissing my own car while trying to sell it.
On the plus side, it is in impeccable condition, fun to drive (manual does that) and it has some tasteful mods. All things considered , it is a worthy specimen. I thought my asking price was fair, realizing that I would have to entertain lower offers.
So, I guess the only thing I can change is the price, to make it attractive where a potential buyer would be willing to sacrifice a few wants for a good deal. Here is where I need some help.
Before I advertise the car on several sites (cars.com, autotrader.com, ebay, etc.), I would like some feedback from the E60 crowd.
1. As a potential buyer, would you rather see an asking price to test your negotiating skills, or would you prefer the carmax model of here is the price, take it or leave it?
2. As a negotiating buyer, is my asking price at a price point where it would pique your interest, or should it be adjusted. If yes, what should the asking price be?
3. As a carmax buyer, what is the correct price point for a "buy it now"?
4. Are there any changes that I should make to my ad or is it clear enough? Or is it too clear, too mechanical no room for questions (everyone loves to ask questions, it helps breaks the ice)?
I will be totally open to all comments, so if you participate in this thread, feel free to be brutally honest. If you want to have some fun and bust my ballz, go ahead, I appreciate humor as well. All I ask is that you bust them constructively.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You might want to check the completed listing on Ebay to see what cars like yours have sold for in our current market. Best of luck with the sale.

Asking Price Reduced
Looks like it's a bad economic time for selling high line V8's and V10's. I see a lot of nice deals out there. Best of luck to anyone trying to sell, me included.
Price at $42,500

I don't believe I've ever seen a car sell on here. You have to remember it's similar to bringing a hot dog to picnic. We already have hot dogs and most of us are just concerned about the added condiments.
I'd try eBay or Autotrader because I doubt you'll find much interest on here. I tried once myself without a single PM or reply.

Al,
This is EXACTLY the car I'm looking for...Unfortunately (for me) I've got just under a year left on my current lease..Wifey might have a problem if I pulled the trigger..
Maybe if I store it over at your place till next spring?
