Yeah, when I went to put the car on the net this morning I saw the other one - what a coincidence.

I have this really bad habit of moving from one car to another (my spousal unit is very forgiving...).

Just moving on to something else. The car has been awesome. I had a 645Ci which had some electronic gremlins, but the 550i has been bulletproof. Just got back from a long trip to CA, probably 2500 miles total, mostly freeway driving, at a brisk pace and got over 25mpg. Pretty amazing. This is the first car I have had with HUD and I really like it, especially the ability to display upcoming navigational things like turns, exit ramps, etc. Not sure I'd have another without HUD.

The engine/transmission combination in the car is right on the mark. Very fast but also a great cruising machine. Very comfortable to drive.

Like I said the car is absolutely pristine, I just want to move on.

 

What are you moving on to?

 

Not sure yet. Have had the 645Ci and 997 in the past few years, so not sure where to go now.

 

I am in the exact same boat you are except I want to move on to the Merc S550. Im bored with the 550 already after owning it since January. I have 997CS to but selling soon. Good luck with sale and a free bump.

 

Bored how? I have e60 since they just came out and the more i ride the more i enjoy it. But then again, I never had a porsche. Elaborate more.
