My Ride: 2004 BMW 545
2004 BMW 545 / All options
I have owned this car since 2012, drove it for 5 years and put 50,000 miles on it. I decided to complete rebuild it to a Sub-5 second 0-60 car and work became a huge distraction. It has sat in storage for the last 5 years. The pics of the exterior were taken in 2017, right before the start of the project. In 2017, the engine needed valve stem seals and that lead me to buying a reman'd engine from Cali, which would not start and is still in the car. I could share the details to an interested buyer. 75% of everything under the hood has been replaced; Hoses, modules (including new ECU), water pump, alternator, AC Compressor, radiator. Dinan Stage 3 Intake., etc, etc, etc. Other components: Brakes, Rotors, Bilstein Struts, under-carriage body panels, battery, the list goes on, etc. Swapped back to stock rims. Numerous additional parts available outside of this posting for an additional cost: -Spare Transmission with 30k on it: Cost me almost $2,000. This is in addition to the one in the vehicle, which is fine -Bavauto Hi-Perf Coil packs; Stock coils are on the engine. I simply lost interest and don't have the time, as much as I would love to see this car up and running. I have invested thousands and would rather let it rot in a junkyard than take a lowball. Buying this car and parting it out would easily bring $5500, if that was the direction you wanted to go in and didn't want to rebuild it. Be reasonable and fair. The roof paint has become oxidized and needs to be compounded and waxed. Transferring these parts to your running 545/550 and/or fixing and selling this car could bring you $12,000/$14,000 from the right buyer, who would have a car that is virtually completely rebuilt. $1,000 cash. I have the title.
