It can be done manually as alohalc stated. Here in Germany were the space to enter a garage is small, I used to pull one mirror in to pull into my garage. Now I have the technique to not do it.

Well once your new car arrives at VPC the sooner it leaves the better! 
Meaning it's quite possible nothing happened on the boat ride or loading/unloading.
