338 Kilometers from Lindau to Berchtesgaden The 335d had its maiden voyage yesterday from Munich (M?nchen) to Lindau, a trip of ca. 200 kilometers.

After a short visit, it was off to Berchtesgaden, in the Bavarian Alps.

Looks like fun.... my grandparents lived in Berchtesgarden and I used to live in Bad Reichenhall as a kid. That is a beautiful part of the world.

Before I lived in Stuttgart, I lived in Mietraching for a couple of years and the wife an I spent a weekend in Lindau. I remember the roads quite well, especially the A8 route between Munich and Salzburg :-)

Do you have to put on snow chains to get to Berchetsgaden?

Except the A5 was a funking parking lot the day before Christmas near Ziegelhutte. Stop and go traffic for more than an hour. Worse than traffic in Seattle, WA!

No chains and no real snow. Temperature was 5? when I arrivedin the evening.

We did get a light dusting of snow just now, however.

Thanks for sharing Jonathan,

Those are very familiar landscapes from last seven year?s summer and winter holidays!

Enjoy the 335d and the "Berchtesgadener Land"

Best regards from Finland
