There is an interesting article on the 545i in the lastest issue of Bimmer. One of the issues was the run flat tires and their "rougher" ride trait. Has anyone changed their tires from the run flats? If so, what did you change to? Was it because the tires wore out? If so, how many miles did you get out of the run flats? I assume non-run flats work on our rims, correct?

Overall the article is worth a read, IMHO. My 545i is my 8th BMW, starting in 1971 (1600), I think the power and design are excellent. I just completed a 900 mile round trip, with four people in the car. Quick, smooth, excellent mileage and a whole lot of fun.
