NYT Article on Michelin's New Unpressurized Tires

See this New York Times article today on Michelin's new non-pressurized tires. They aren't run-flat, they are never-flat because they rely only on polyurethane spokes to support the car's weight. Sounds like a long time before we see them on cars, but interesting.

Waiting for trunkopener button from Hobi :)

I wonder what this combo wil weigh?? Air is lighter then those spokes

It sounds like weight is in the ballpark, but heavy. One of their development issues.
