Not a chance, Volvo is way more reliable that BMW.
Anyone else have a sense of ambiguity with this post??

I rented a Volvo S80 on a recent business trip to Dallas. I did not like it at all. It did not compare at all to a 5 Series. On a positive note, the interior was really really nice and well-executed. The car was very comfortable to sit in and looked well-made. But I absolutely hated the way it drove. The suspension/steering felt numb and non-responsive. My rental was a non-turbo so maybe the turbo is a better drive.

Since BMW does not sell to Hertz (thank goodness for brand image), I usually rent Infiniti M35 or Audi A6 or (if I don't have much buggage), Corvette ZHZ (436 bhp special edition Vette that is exclusive to Hertz). Infiniti is more fun to drive than Audi although not as luxurious. I would not rent Volvo S80 again.

Volvo is certainly NOT a BMW, and doesn' t try to be like one either. Volvo is more geared towards M-B as they put focus on Comfort not driving experience. The Turbo is not a better drive, just faster...

Seems US News & World Report is not too fond of e60s.

Maybe this could give us a clue...?

"we are unable to find enough reviews to publish a definitive ranking"
