There are a bunch more metrics but the frustrating thing is that the Yokohama tire isn't available in sizes that fit our cars - they stopped the best, and they also were rated the best dry performer after the track runs were factored in.

I resume these are non-runflats? I thought the E60 and now the E90 had runflats from new unless you specify 19" wheels or an M5 ?

Just getting some PS2's. Must be *far* better than the Dunlop DSST's!

Sorry, they're all regular tires. Size 225/45 17". 325i, presumably non-sport. Testing occurred at TireRack.com's test track in South Carolina. They included a tester who used to work for Michelin and was a track tester for 10+ years. He drove all the tires "blind", without knowing what the car had mounted on it.

You really should get the Goodyears. Far better performer. The shocker is that the Bridgestones aren't very good.

C&D stated they specifically stayed away from doing ride comfort and noise as they consodered they would be secondary interests to those wanting "performance" tires.

Right, I went back and checked - I remembered a few comments they made on a tire or two regarding noise. I think it's online now.
