WoW is that luck or skill?
I test drove X5 4.4 before.. and it does handle great.. I should say it even handle better than Porsche Cayenne..

My Ride: 2003 X5 3.0----->gone
2004 Porsche Cayenne S : Gemballa front and back bodykit, fabspeed bypass pipes, Gemballa exhaust pipes, full option, 20" factory sport design rims------>gone
2005 545i 6-spd manual---->de-badged, CDV removal, Autosolutions short shift kit, resonator removal, premium package, PDC, xenon, almost full options, hardwire V1 install ....looking for mods...
2007 550i 6-spd----> Premium package, sport package, Logic7, heated everything, Rogue Engineering SSK, CDV removal, hardwire V1 install, aFe cold air intake, Custom Magnaflow exhaust....
Wow....that must be a combination of luck and skill....absolutely crazy.
Hmmm....having owned both cars, I came to the conclusion that both are really good-handling SUV's. Both are similar in some ways. Firstly, both rides harsh (I have sport package and 20 in wheels on both), on road and snow handling are perfect, lousy backseats in my opinion (Cayennes espescially since they are so upright). In my opinion, only difference comes from on-limit handling. X5 is more controlable when u start to lose traction and take corners at crazy speeds. Its surprising that u can actually slide and SUV and it still stays controlled. Cayenne is scary when it starts to skid. I think
its because the traction control is more aggressive or some other reason I am not sure. The Cayenne would start to buckle and try to correct itself and it gets pretty scary as I would prefer to do that correction myself. However, Cayennes have more grip over the X5 and this is amazing considering that the X5 have wider tires, mine has 315 vs. 275 for the Cayenne. So there....take your pic....would u rather have a car that have more traction but harder to control once u lose them or a car that has less traction but easier to control in a skid?? Either way u will have a winner!!
