And it's my fault it's detuned? Why can't they put the same power? Ohhh maybe techinal reasons, or maybe marketing reasons aaaaah i see now. Why don't they use the old 55? work on that? Ohhh that isn't good enough to develop it even more?
After all i don't want a detuned engine. I want a top end model. Like the next m3 will be.

the new sl55 amg produces 517bhp / 735nm with the 55 kompressor engine. The kompressor engine is getting crapped because:

1) Amg wanted to develop their own engine
2) Kompressor engines are too expensive
3) From 2009 MB is PROHIBITED to produce kompressor, because the unit sits too high in the car and if a passanger is hit , the bonnet has no crumple zone.

The 2009 SL63AMG will feature a 6.3litre Biturbo engine with an excess of 630horsepower and 950nm

Great. Slam it into the clk. I hate when i spend ALOT of money on my cocky amg clk to think of it as a car that has a DETUNED engine. I hate that. It's like going to the toilet next to a horse...to quote someone dear...
Really know. to think what that engine could be capable of and yet it doesn't peform as it should, exactly on a straight line as i would expect my uber amg to kill anything...that just would leave a bitter taste everytime i start the car.

well if you really want something that wil win over any m3 (including e90 m3)
it has to be this.. with the dtm race suspension set, and the MClaren SLR engine...

Interesting to see the times on the nurburgring but anyway i just said it to prove there is a competitor to the clk dtm amg, and guess what it's an m3.
