I have driven one and my friend just got one. I like it alot..i think it has a unique look!
I'm seriously considering buying one soon. Can't decide between 750i or X6 50i.
I also have a X5 4.8 and it doesn't compare at all. The ride is so much better and handle
alot better. Just have to get over the weight of the car 5300 lbs.

At the risk of upsetting the X6 haters
I've had mine for almost 2 months now and am absolutely loving it.
As I said in my recent post, I believe the shape is one that wil prove exceptional over time.

Have you encountered poor rear visibility? I drove one for a day and was scared the entire time by the substantially reduced view out the rear window. The window angle is so steep that it effectively reduces the view to just inches. Glad you like it as there is a lot to like. But the incredible loss of rear vision is a deal killer for me. I am surprised it has not gotten the attention of the safety police in the media.

Well,

As many of you know, I did not like Britney Spears at all...but she grew on me. I would not mind taking her for a coffee at the local joe's cafe shop.

Anyway...now this is the main event. THE X6 is growing on me to a point that I think I will say bye to my third e6. Yes Yes I am falling in love with her. What F10 you are talking about? How can I fall in love with some one I barely know? At least I see the X6 daily.

Am I getting to carry away talking about that? Time to get my medicine
The odd thing is this: One of my sale rep sent me an email and he said they are hard to order ? He told me they get certain number of cars to order and his dealer only could order a max of 3 or so. Hmm......he said he is going to work on it.

Hey .....hey hey!!! i know you dont like...and many of you dont like Britney S neither. Guess what ? I like them both!

Production is probably down - because they're not flying out of the showrooms. I've only seen 2 here in the Bay Area since they went on sale. Also, if you look at the BMW sales report that Tachyon posted, you'll see that X6 sales aren't stellar... This car will be quietly pulled in a year or two.

Whilst some people may not like the shape, I think the real constraint is the lack of a 5 seat option.
This immediately cuts out a big market. BMW are pitching the car essentially as a bigger more practical option to a regular coupe. They got the space pretty much right in the rear cabin and trunk. All they had to do was leave a rear centre seat as an option.

Agree - the problem was, of course, that the X5 already had that covered. I think that's why they tried a little too hard to differentiate between them and the net result is four seats in the X6 rather than the five that may have been more useful. It's a shame, as the X6 is a very well engineered car. The shape of the car is totally subjective,it's just that the X6 is perhaps just a little more polarizing than most (and I normally do tend to like cars that polarize opinion). If you like it (and I am sure that you do) then you bought the right car for you!
