Are there such companies in the USA?
There are a few in the USA, the most reputable being O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt, the company that armours the US Presidental limo. They can armour cars up to "Explosion Resistant Vehicle Protection" standard, which is even stronger than the european "B7" standard.

But the 5 only goes up to hand gun level protection, not B7, because the engines are too smal

How much do the protection 3-series or protection x5 cost? I'm talking handgun level, not B7!

My Ride: 1) 1999 750iL E38 (Not the Sport Version), family's ride, based in HK. Wish it had B6/B7 armour, but doesn't..
2) 2001 330xi E46 for the snowy winters. Steptronic, black, no sport package (was unavailable back then), std. multispoke rims.
3) Looking to acquire a BMW 3.0 CSL Series-3
Question to Black1444
Hey Black1444, is the BMW High Security 760Li truly B7? I see that they are armored to B6/B7. Doesn't this mean that parts of the car are B6 while others are B7? The glass does not look that thick and I've read that B7 glass designed to stop AP rounds are 55-70mm in thickness. I think very few armored vehicles are B7/B7, I know a few Mercedes S-Classes are built to that level by Trasco.
