Thumbs up

I remember seeing 7-series protection cars on ebay several years back (before the new body style)

does bmw still make the protection series cars -- and does anyone know what they cost in US Dollars?

thanks!

Here is the link Charley!

There are seven protection classes: B1-B7. B7 is the highest, what even resists an AK47 and explosions. Those B7 cars are the ones politicians use. A fully loaded B7 7series is about 500,000 USD.

SWEET!
I'll take the x5 and 7

of course to say i needed one of these would mean i have a huge ego.

to all the important people -- these definetely look cool and dont give away their stature.

thanks

I remember reading about a Range rover that was fully protected, and can resist two simultaneous grenade explosions underneath it!

Too bad you have to "qualify" to get one of the B7 cars

Would have been very helpful if I ever chose to become a drug lord(?).

If BMW doesn't want to sell it to you, and I doubt they don't sell their cars to everybody who is willing to pay for it, you can get the same B7 done by other companys on the aftermarket. The cost will be about the same. There is no NEED to get it from BMW itself...
