I think people needed some time to get used to the model. I myself didn't like it at all in the beginning. In the end I was debating between a new 5 series and a used 745i at the dealer with very little mileage.

im pretty sure that is a 7 L. Definetly beautiful!

i really want to move forward to a 7 sometime in the future and from what i see i hope thats the one to have next.

So now bmw is making their models run shorter periods???
i mean, this 7 would go for what? 2002-2007 thats 6 years
and the 3 series was what? 99-04 6 years too right?

i remember they used to keep a model for 8 years before changing it

It's definately a L version and it's planned for 2008. That means it could be a 2009 also... Wouldn't that be 8 years then ?

All BMW models run historically for 7-8 years...

My E46 came out in 1998 and the new E90 is debuting end of 2005...

Not bad... I like... especially the exhaust... i'm tired of the traditional looking ones.

I owned a 745Li... personally I loved the look of the car... everyone makes fun of its look but I think the current version is beautiful... the new version on a side angle of the front looks like a Nissan Maxima...

Love the exhaust. However how do we know it's not photoshopped?

I'm not sure if I like it or not, it sort of looks like a grown up G35 sedan.
