Since we started to speculate..it does not do 4.0 thats for sure.
official figure for M6 is 4.6 and I think new M3 wont beat that, my guess is 4.9 as official number (old version 5.2, 335i coupe 5.5)...
Sorry I am talking 0-100km/h - dont know about the 0-60

The old one was quick.
No doubt the new one will be quicker still...
You just need a dry road to be able to get the power down

Just finishes reading my AutoWeek and BMW is quoting only 4.8 seconds for 0-60 with 420hp. Hopefully they're quoting low. Unfotunately, in the same magazine, in an article titled "Not So Fast, BMW", the new Mercedes CLK63 AMG, with 500hp will do 4.1 seconds! The same article quotes the new Audi RS5 which will have the same 420hp as the RS4 and the new Lexus IS 500F which will have 400hp.

okay official number 4.8 from 0-100, I was little bit pessimistic. But it looks damn hot!!! And wheels are great too!

The following .pdf is for the European version of the M3 but the specifications section towards the end shows a 0-100Km time of 4.8 seconds...

Lighter than an RS4 but not as quick.
Is anyone else disappointed?
