Here (in Brazil) we have only the 130 Motorsport and they inform 272 HP!

hmmm 272 HP, maybe its just through the conversion europ. HP -> non europ. HP. The 1 on your pics has the ugly M package, I do not like it. I dont think they are modifing the 265 HP engine for outside Europe, and a difference of 7 HP is not really much. If I take 265 x 1,014 (was is?) it comes 268,7. Or do all other beamers in Brazil have the same HP as in Europe?

Why does this car have 272 HP damn it???

Lighten up Dude. IMHO the 1 Series looks a bit like an X3 in mini format. But it really rocks!

nice beast. Funny how such a little bastard would race off big 530i and actually be very close with 545i.

@Peter530i

545i I did not have on the Autobahn yet, but it drives by a 540i as if it was parking. Funny isnt it? The M3 convertable is also not faster, the M3 coupe unfortuneatly is. 545i should also be beatable.

Yeah, tropical adjustment sounds goot. But should have less power then, its warmer in Brazil.

nice car .. flipping quick i hear.

but take a 545 i don't think so. 540 is not a 545!
even the BMW conservative 0-60 times are slower than what they quote 545 (130=6.1 / 545=5.8/5.9 auto).
i know that's not a lot of diff, but beyond that you also get the torque of the big displacement.

i don't want to sound negative so sorry if that's how it comes across...

i like your car, i really do.

Its really funny with this new car. The 545i is great and fast no doubt, but I think the 130 can keep up.

All experiments and experience so far makes me think so

I drove both (130 and 545). The 1 series is like a go-kart. Great car for daily use.

The question is: the "part" behind the sterring wheel will make the difference.
