We now have a new M3 Coupe demo at my dealership so I took it out for about a 15 minute run yesterday. The DC transmission really is incredible. If you didn't hear the motor or watch the tach you would have absolutely no way of knowing that you've downshifted. The car handled like a dream and made me long for the days of my '02 M3 convertible. However, despite the incredible technology of this remarkable new transmission, I would still opt for a stick and 3 pedals.
