As per the 535d vs 545i thread running elsewhere on the forum. Top gear have lapped the M3 and the 535d with exactly the same time.
Lot's of people in the other thread seem convinced that the 545i is faster than the 535d so logically the 545i should be AT LEAST as quick as a little M3.
