My Ride: 2008 BMW 550i Titanium Silver Metallic Automatic Transmission, Ventilated Comfort Seats in Beige Nasca Leather, Light Popular Trim, NAV, HUD, Active Steering, Night Vision, Cruise Control, Logic 7, Blue tooth Hands Free, Dynamic Stability, Soft Close, Heated Steering wheel, Dynamic Drive, Voice commands
Whats the difference if any in the Euro and the U.S.A 2008 550i? Any performance difference? 0-60's and 1/4 timing on both please. Thanks

Yes. There are certain emission rules in the U.S.A which has compromised the performance. The overall difference in the top speed won't be much of a difference (without the limiter that is ) but it sure does affect the 0-60 timings....you can check out the times given by the bmw people on bmwusa.com and bwm.co.uk...in their catalog
The emission rules in the European union are somewhat more lenient

Bonus points if you also understand that the "metric" unit for horsepower is not equal to the US unit of horsepower, much like an Imperial gallon is not the same as a US gallon.
