Leburpor

Just had to share my experience with our new toy, the E91 323i. I took it for a drive around the Adelaide Hills and country side yesterday. Lots of long sweepers, tight bends and open straights. Overall, I travelled around 130kms.

WOW!!

I did not expect such good handling from a wagon! Although it didn't have the grunt of my E60 540i, it was still fast enough around the curves and it held its line very well. There were only 2 turns where I had an oversteer but I often oversteer at those locations in most cars anyway. The ride was also very comfortable and cabin noise was minimal. Now I know why it's called a TOURING WAGON, not a Station Wagon The whine of the I6 was also sweet...an acceptable variance from my usual V8 growl.

Overall, 8/10 Would have been nicer with the M-sports pack and a 3.5lt bi-turbo engine

I'm pretty new at BMW's. My previous cars were a Merc W211 E320 and a Merc A160 LWB. Now that I've owned these two BMW's, I don't think I can ever go back to Mercedes... BMW is true to its slogan
