Not sure I get the "low end" comments in relation to the Cayman (or the high end in relation to the M3 for that matter). Either way, the Cayman is an incredible car. It'll out-handle the M3 like you wouldn't believe. Unless you need the extra seats the Cayman is the better driver's car - by a mile. I'd recommend the S, the base Cayman isn't underpowered but the S is noticeably quicker.

i found Porsche cars to be balanced more than high hp.
the handling is amazing.

for Drag racing the Corvette z06 takes the cake.

Not a big surprise a 300hp 135i out drags a 245hp Cayman. But every other performance category the 135i doesn't stand a chance. The Cayman is one of the best handling cars out there.

They should have used the equally powered Cayman S.

the bmw is cheaper,dont forget that ..
they compared the right ones imo

Yes its cheaper compared to the Cayman S. But it is also inferior in performance to the Cayman S. Power output is only the same, every other category the Cayman S wins hands down. Including styling.

Price differences have never stopped shows and magazines before, when doing comparos.
