I am in the next couple of months (after the proposed strike Verizon employee) looking to purchase a new car and while I love the bimmers I have just gotten a porsche bug up my butt.

I am looking at the new m3 dual clutch or 6 man have not decided or the cayman s I have not driven either for fear of haveing to purchase now you know how that goes.

Priced the both of them out and the cayman would be way more if optioned out like the M car, any suggestions I have never owned a porsche but have had 4 bmw's and I don't like the early adopter facter that bmw offers been there done that with the new 5 and got bit badly

any confidence builders either way would be helpful one note after working in Northern Va for the last week and seeing two M3 a blue one and a white one I am leaning to the lower side of the alphabet they are a great looking and sounding car

i say go for the P car. I have driven all sorts of car. The P cars are special IMHO.
I have probably driven about 6 different m3 e92 in all variation & option etc.

If u decide to get the P-car hit me up, i will hook you up. Since I have bought so many cars from this dealershp - they take care of me and my friends.

I used to work for Veri-Zone in NoVA.
Hit me up either way via PM. we'll talk.

thanks guys I made a mistake a really looked at the m3 today when I went to the dealer to get oil and filter they had 3 conv coupe and sedan 77 for the conv, 67800 for the coupe and 67000 for the sedan I really like the sedan as I think the lines flow a little better I refused to drive it because I would have had to have one today and without wifey consent (in Cali right now) would not have been a good welcome home present for me to her the car had every thing except dct and cold wheather package which i want that should add about 4000 more dollars and they also don't have any deals on that car at this point. I think I will also wait for the new idrive design

That is comming in the m car also correct me if I am wrong I would hate to buy and 6 months later they start changeing things like they did on the 5 when I brought it in 03

thanks again I will keep you informed
