can someone explain to me why the 295 torque is too low and why low torque is not good? the car does have414 hp and can clearly move fast so i dont see what the complaint is about. im waiting to get one with the retractable hardtop, as soon as i can convince the wife,

I've seen the e92 335i beat the e92 M3. But I rather go AMG if you talk about speed

The Motor Trend comparo against the IS-F and C63. The M3 beat the IS-F by 4.4 seconds a lap and the C63 by 3.8 seconds a lap. It wasn't even a contest.
Motor Trend quote:
"The BMW is lithe and athletic yet never punishing, and it comes in a package you can use and enjoy every day."
But still don't think I could pass up the C63.

Agree with JetBlack in any aspect in this thread except i would certainly pass the AMG, plus he explained perfectly the M philosophy.
People who don't get this philosophy are closed hearted when it comes to performance cars. Really! The same philosophy (engine wise) drives Ferraris and Lambos.
Fuel consuption? Bloody get a hybrid !

Nice Vid! There is no repacement for an M Car. You can bring the perfromance levels close to an M, but it doesn't have the same feel or soul of a factory built M Car. On a side note, the M3 has a quarter mile time of 13.4 seconds? What is the quarter mile time for a 545i or 550i? If I am not mistaken it is not too far off.

the way i see it, i fixed up dinan 335i (to the max actually) still couldnt beat the m3, so if you started modding the m3, theres no comparison, i dont see why people dont see past the fact that an m3 has much more potential
